Western Red Cedar

Predominately clad in Canadian Western Red Cedar which is naturally resistant to moisture, decay and insect damage. As a result it is the ideal wood for outdoor applications removing the need for toxic chemical preservatives. The even grain and relatively consistent density makes Western Red Cedar less likely to swell, warp, cup, and twist than other soft and hardwoods.
