With a range of outer cladding options, the Qube’s unique Western Red Cedar is virtually maintenance free. If left untreated without a coating, Western Red Cedar acclimatises with the atmosphere and weather to adopt a natural almost silver sheen, similar to a Silver Birch. If however, you would prefer the natural pink dapple shade that the timber adopts when it is first exposed to the elements, then with special clear, natural coating, the original colour tones can be sustained. Western Red Cedar is a marvellous, natural product that is felled and produced in a very sympathetic and environmentally friendly process. Western Red Cedar is also well suited to the British climate as it secretes a natural resin, which seals the timber naturally, making it very resistant to water penetration, warping and splitting. It can also if required be coated in a range of natural wood or colour coatings.

The life expectancy of the Qube is well in excess of 30 years and it comes with a comprehensive 5year guarantee that can be extended to a 10year guarantee via a respected UK insurance backed warranty, at a reasonable extra charge.

The ultimate timber, eco friendly garden room can include no power consumption roof ventilation systems, light tubes which draw down natural outdoor light, roof domes, sky lights to remove any heat build-up, solar glass or an in-glass blinds system to reduce heat build-up. The Qube offers fully retractable double glazed bi-fold doors and windows to take as much natural control of the room temperature, as possible.
